Select Developmental Editing Projects

These projects involved editorial reading for content and macro and micro craft elements, which included feedback notes and markup throughout the manuscript, a separate multi-page manuscript evaluation (sometimes called an editorial letter), and oftentimes follow-up editorial meetings with the author to provide further brainstorming, coaching, and guidance.

Numerous manuscript projects are still currently under development and revision by their authors and in various stages of querying–check back on this page for updates!

Select Copyediting and Line Editing Projects

These projects involved various levels of copyediting (light to heavy) or line editing, fact checking, formatting citations, standardizing measures/ingredient listings and recipes (for cookbooks), and offering light editorial feedback on content when necessary for clarity or correctness.

I copyedit using track changes in Microsoft Word and refer to the most recent Chicago Manual of Style, as well as in-house publisher style guides and author requests.
